Whenever we were bored in class back in 2nd year, and our minds began to wander, a lyric or two may have happened to make their way into our psyches, prompting us to jot them down wherever was convenient. Fast-forward to 4th year: we had a pretty cool vintage-sounding guitar riff (the one that opens the tune) and needed some lyrics to put to it. Back we went to our undergraduate notes for inspiration and, after a very productive video-chat-play-sing session, ended up with this somewhat metaphysical somewhat geophysical tune.

While I was staring at stars in an endless sky,
